Terms of Service
Last updated October 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Plura Inc. ("Plura", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Plura website, dashboard and online-store services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you can bind that business to them.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate information when you sign up.
- You are responsible for your login details and for everything done under your account, including by staff you invite. Turn on two-factor sign-in from your profile to protect it.
- Tell us right away at support@example.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
2. Free trial and plans
- New accounts start with a free trial of 14 days. If a card is requested to start the trial, it is not charged until the trial ends.
- When the trial ends, the plan you chose starts and your card is charged automatically for the first billing period, unless you cancel before then.
- Plans renew automatically every month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, which applies from your next renewal.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which are added where required.
- Plans have the limits described on our pricing page. If you go over a limit, you may need to upgrade to add more.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew after that. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Your stores and your customers
- You are the seller in every sale made through your stores. You are responsible for your products, prices, descriptions, shipping, returns, customer service, and for collecting and paying taxes that apply to your sales.
- You must publish your own terms, refund and privacy policies to your customers, and comply with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, privacy (such as PIPEDA, provincial privacy laws and US state privacy laws) and anti-spam laws (such as CASL and CAN-SPAM).
- You keep all rights to your content (products, images, text and logos). You give us a licence to host, copy and display it only as needed to run the Service for you.
5. Payments from your customers
Your customers' payments are processed by the payment providers you connect, such as Stripe or PayPal, under their own terms, and paid out by them to your accounts. Plura does not hold your customers' money. Where a platform fee applies to sales, it is shown to you before you enable that payment method.
6. Domains
Domains you buy through Plura are registered in your name through our registrar partner and are subject to the registrar's and the registry's terms. Domain fees are charged per year and are non-refundable once the domain has been registered. You are responsible for renewing domains on time; we send reminders before they expire.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to sell illegal, counterfeit, stolen or dangerous goods; to infringe others' rights; to send spam; for fraud, phishing or deceptive practices; to distribute malware; or in any way that harms the Service, our infrastructure or other merchants. We may remove content or suspend stores that break these rules, and will tell you why when we can.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, non-payment after a reasonable grace period, or where required by law. You can close your account at any time. After closing, you may export your data for 30 days; after that it may be deleted.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that materially reduces the Service you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by third parties arising from your products, your content, your stores or your breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they apply.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the applicable federal laws, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located there have jurisdiction, unless the law where you are requires otherwise.
